What we store, and why

F4SHN.HAUS collects as little as possible. This page explains each case in plain language.

Votes and saves

When you vote in a ballot, take the style test or save a piece, we store the choice and the ballot name. We do not store your name, email or IP address with it. To stop one person voting many times, the server keeps a one-way code made from your connection and the day; it is replaced every day and cannot be turned back into your address. Your own choice is also remembered in your browser so the page can show it again; you can delete it by clearing site data.

The Friday Edit and STYLERZ early access

• What we store: your email, which list you chose, the optional answer about apps, your style world if you took the test, the page you signed up on and the time of your consent.
• Why: to send the letters you asked for and to build STYLERZ, a fashion app, from readers’ preferences.
• Confirmation: nothing is sent until you click the link in our confirmation email (double opt-in).
• Leaving: every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing deletes your email from the list. You can also reply to any of our emails and ask for all your data to be deleted.
• STYLERZ: your style profile moves into a STYLERZ account only if you agree when you are invited.

What we never ask

No sizes, no body measurements, no weight, nothing about health. These are sensitive data and we do not need them.

Services we use

• Cloudflare (hosting, the database for votes and the list, and Turnstile, a check against automated sign-ups).
• Resend (sending emails).
• A cookie-free visitor count that stores no personal data and sets no cookies.

Cookies

We set no tracking cookies and show no cookie banner. The check against automated sign-ups may set a technically necessary item while you use the form.
